    Hi.

I just recently started with fitness excersises and to pay more attention to my weight and endurance.

Since reducing my weight is one of the primary goals it would be neat if the profile would keep track of the weight change.

Maybe as a link next to the weight field in the profile.

The same could of course be implemented for Resting heart rate.

I was just thinking the same thing. It would really be nice for those of us who are trying to lose weight if it showed our weight change. It would also be an incentive to me to get out and walk more.

    Just noticed one thing.

In DailyLog it is possible to fill in the weight (and calories eaten etc) . Haven't figured out how to use it though.

Also, in MyTrainings the weight change is being shown, but I suppose that it is the weight change during the currrent month.

So I suppose that what I suggested is already implemented. Haven't found out how to view it properly though.

    (1) Use daily logs to record your morning weight: Go to "MyTraining" and click on the day for which you want to record the log. Today's date is always framed in red.

    (2) To see your weight change over time, again, go to "My Training". On the left, it says "View custom reports by:" with options for "Day" "Week" and "Month". Click on any of those, but probably you want "Day" to start with.

The first view is calories burned over time. In the drop-down menu choose "Avg. Morning Weight / Time", and click on "View Report".

Note: you can change the dates of the report to your liking, so you can show changes in weight day by day for the past 3 months, should you wish to. Because of daily changes in weight (natural), it is maybe better to use the report by week, which will give you the weekly average.

The weekly average is also good if you don't record your weight every day, as there is currently a bug with displaying days for which no weight was recorded: the weight is given as 0. Fortunately the weekly and monthly averages do not count weight 0 when calculating the averages, but when displaying the graphs on a day to day basis, a missing value is really plotted as 0. The graph looks ugly, and the scale is adjusted to include all values between 0 and your actual weight, making it difficult to see changes in weight.

If you record your weight every day, the scale with adjust so that you can easily see changes in weight.

    I hope this is useful.

    Thanks!

This sound exactly what I was looking for. I will try it out.

I will probably only record my weight on a bi-weekly basis to filter out any natural variation.

You should record it daily and then look at the report "by week" so that weekly averages are shown... If you go for bi-weekly mesurements, make sure you record the weight at the exact same time, in the same context. Otherwise you will still end up with varition you want to filter out.

Basically, on statistical grounds the more measurements you have, the more likley you are to get "accurate" averages which reflect your "true" weight...

I can't seem to fix my intial starting weight which was filled in as 70, and then once I put in my actual weight and started recording runs it looks like I have a huge weight gain. Please help me to go back and fix that intial amount shown. It is shown under the Training Summary header at the top of the month in the My Training section.
