What’s up everybody? I’m looking at this challenge as a way to create consistency as I build my base for the season ahead. I had been increasing my daily run mileage while increasing the number of rest days per week. For November, I’m going to switch it up a little, drop some per run mileage and focus my effort on getting out 6 days a week. I’m also going to give myself some flexibility to run mid-day or evening instead of strictly morning (which running less per run miles allows). Does it sound like I’m on the right track? Is consistency a main objective here?

Rob,  Yes you got the concept. increased frequency at lower miles per run.  You will discover that there are particular benefits to this type of training.  I still have 1 long run per week of 6-10mi but have restday afterwards and run lightly on the run days around it.
