    hey!!! just want to try to get in touch with any mtn bikers in the area...      ive been riding since i was a kid but am starting to get more into it as i get older ....   any tips??? any good spots????

    Check out the "Stay in the Shade" web site.  They are a trail running group here in Michigan.  I have participated in a few of their runs (Highland Park Rec. Area) and they all seem to be on mountain bike trials.  If you are looking for chalenging trails with lots of hills, these guys know where to find them and they are TOUGH to run!  Again, they are not a biking group, but run on bike trails.  There web site may give you some hint to more bike trails.

    i used to ride a lot more than i do now but i used to do the pottowatamie (sp?) trail in pinckney when i wanted a long, quality ride.
