I have been using this site for a few weeks.  A great way to keep track of your running.  Hope to see many of you using it and adding some of your runs.

Yeah I've just clocked 12 runs on here :) Great way to keep track of how you're doing, and watch your progress! Really impressed.

Just a quick thing for the developers to note (not sure if they read these forums) - I have changed my date setting from MM/DD/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY as is the NZ standard, but when I go to edit one of my runs after initially inputting it, it swaps the month and day field back to US standard, and if I don't change it back, then it will set the run's date to 00/00/0000 if it tries to set the month value over 12. Just a little thing I think is worth ironing out :)

Thanks a LOT! Really loving the site :)

I first found this site while visiting up in Washington state (I travel alot and fly my bike with me on  longer trips) and was looking for a route to ride. Not knowing the area I searched for the local bike clubs which sometimes have their routes posted.

This time I found mapmytri.com and looked up local people's routes - which was great because it helped me map out a great cycling route right from my hotel door.

Just keep that in mind when you post your route - it's not only local folks looking at the maps, an out-of-towner will appreciate all the comments you add. Even if you think that everyone know's where there is the park and restrooms etc, it's not always like that!

Thanks to the folks at mapmytri.com for creating such a helpful site!

I've never thought about travellers using my maps, but I suppose it's possible (I live in the middle of a vast planned unit development).

That said, this site has been very useful in my training. I often feel that a workout is not done until I've logged my run. Now if I cold just meld my runs together with my gym work, I'd be all set.
