I have been running steadily for several years and every year when it gets cold I move to the treadmill rather than brave the Minnesota and Chicago winters.  I just started the treadmill three weeks ago.  I run 4 miles averaging a 7 minute mile pace with a 2.0 incline three times a week.  This is roughly the same run I was doing outside but this year, once I changed to the treadmill, I started experiencing a lot of pain from my left hip down to my left ankle.  My hip and ankle hurt the worst but I also have pain in my shin and knee.  I injured my left hip about five  years ago when I landed on it wrong during a triple jump competition for track, but it hasn't bothered me this severely for years.   I am already taking Aleve, icing, and stretching at least once a day.  I am only 21 years old, in grad school so I dont have time or money to go to physical therapy, but I dont want to stop running!  Does anybody have any advice?
