I have a lot of thoughts on why I believe Discovery is leaving the sport of cycling but I'd like to hear why other users think they are leaving. What do you think?

They simply couldn't get a sponser and teams are reliant on sponsership revenue to pay for the teams since Prize money from races isn't enough to cover wages, kit and the constant travel costs. More amazing is the fact that noone wanted to sponser the team that had riders in 1st and 3rd in the Tour de France, and won the team classification aswell. I'm pretty sure a Tour winning team has never disbanded in the same year they won the tour. You have to assume noone wants the trouble of sponsering a team while the current doping scandals rumble on. It's an ominous sign of things to come, however I suspect in 5 years time the sponsers will return, certainly I doubt this is the last we've seen of Tailwind and Bruyneel.
