Help!: route outline doesn't fit on map

Hi, I'm new and have only created one route so far so if anyone could help me it would be much appreciated.

Once I saved my route and looked back at it the outline didn't fit to the map but had shifted slightly up. I used the stick to roads function for most of the route I was planning and I don't know whether that had anything to do with it. I've had this problem using another mapping website.

 Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone tell me how to solve it or prevent it happening in the future?
