Suppose I thought i wanted to from point A to point B, but have now decided that I want to do the exact opposite by going from point B to point A; can I reverse my already plotted route?
There is no direct way to do this on the current site. However, a few other users have asked for this, so it's on our list for potential future improvements. The more people that ask for this, the higher it moves up on our priority list, so thanks for letting us know about this.
Absolutely.... I've just used the "Out and Back" feature to save a new route which has the reverse route included in it. But to be able to reverse the route and save it from my original would be fantastic... so I can then add the reverse to my training log. At the moment, I just add the same route twice to take into account my journey home in the evening.
Great site, and tremendously appreciated - thanks to you and all of the MMF team. What is the etr (expected time of release) on the reverse route feature?
Love the site - its amazing! 'Reverse a route' feature would be very helpful so as to calculate workouts - especially when topography is taken into consideration. Thanks.
Love the site! Thank you. A reverse feature would be HUGE. There are so many of us who run/ride up a mtn. top and turn around and head back down the same way! Keep it up.
Adding my 2 cents, being able to save a route with the points reversed would be extremely handy. I keep trying to start with an existing route and customize, but invariably they start where I want to add more points. So if I could save a route reversed, then it is easy to add more.
I was looking to see how to reverse an already created loop run. This would be a really useful feature so I am glad others have requested it as well! Thanks so much for this site....it is awesome!
I couldn't see it implemented anywhere, and I was just looking for it.
BTW, if you are handy with a decent text editor, you might try exporting a route to a GPX or KML file, then reverse the order of the waypoints. A lot of effort, though.
Reverse route would be great. I'd like to see it as a print option also, as why have to save it as an alternative route when all I want is the direction from the other direction.
Absolutely would be greatly appreciated...even for today...biked to work and want to log the reverse route because the elevation profile is very different going home. I also like to run many of my standard loops in reverse direction just to mix things up a little.
Looks like the engineers spent all their time on eyecandy, getting advertisement and all other unnecessary stuff, like a buggy, sluggisch, not-working mapping tool v2.
Reversing a route would be a great feature! It cannot be that hard to implement, would it?
