Hello!  I have an 18 month old girl who frequently comes jogging with me.  We have a BOB Revolution now and LOVE it.  Couldn't be happier.  There are at least 600 miles on that stroller and it still rolls like it is brand new.  I am expecting again and need to get another stroller - one for TWO!  Anyway, I have read a bit about the Phil and Teds strollers but haven't been able to find anything about how they do with jogging.  They look more streamlined than the double wide strollers...  If anyone has any experience with double joggers (specifically the Phil and Teds) I would appreciate some advice!

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Did you manage to find a good stroller for jogging. I've got twins, and although I have a double pram for them, I need something a bit more streamlined for jogging.Any tips????

    Hey there,

We have the BOB double. It is just as smooth as the single. The only negative is that it does not have a footbrake (maybe that has changed with newer models).  You can get in Revolution or Duallie.  The BOB double with the swivel wheel is not as great for running as the fixed wheel but it all depends on what you like.

The BOB Ironman comes in a double. My wife and I use it and it is very comfortable to run with. It has a non-rotating front wheel and a foot brake. We like it a lot!

When are you due? We may be looking to sell our 2008 model BOB Ironman duallie near the end of the summer (probably after I run the Chicago Marathon). My daughter is going to be too big for it around then. It's only been used a few times during the winter and is treated very well. It also has the weather shield. Let me know if you would be interested.

I run with a 2 1/2 year old and 11 month old with my Chariot (double). The huge wheels plow through snow, ice, gravel and more. For it's size, it is surprisingly light and easy to push. I also have the bike attachment so I can hook the kids up to my bike and off we go. The only downfall is that it is pretty large to transport in a vehicle but if you run from home or have a mini-van, you're good to go. You can check them out at www.chariotcarriers.com

I run with a baby jogger performance series (http://babyjogger.com/performancesingle.htm). It is absolutely fantastic! It is extremely well made, very light and has all the necessary accessories to make the ride of your little passenger very enjoyable.  If you use it mostly for running, make sure you purchase it with the large weels (20 inces)...You wont regret it....

Hello, upon first reading of this thread, i thought you were making toddlers 'jog' with you!  Now i realise they're in buggies/strollers whilst you push them.

    Phew!

p.s. don't think Stewie would approve, he'd find it mildy patronising at best Tongue out

I have a Phil & Ted's double and I actually just bought a BOB double jogger, which I prefer. I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old, and the weight distribution on the Phil & Ted makes it harder to push. I just got my BOB a couple weeks ago, and the front wheel can be fixed or swivel--you just undo a latch to switch it over. So far, I love it.
