Thought I would just start a little message seeing how everyone's training is going.  What distances are you running, what times are you running?  What goals are you making for yourself, are you achieving them? Are you still feeling good, and excited to run a marathon!?

So for me, I just upped my milage to a few 7 mile runs, but I downed my pace by like a minute!  It feels great!  I think I feel more positive when I know I have gone further than when I know I have gone fast.   As for goals, well I had not really set any except to actually do the running, but I am planning on doing 100 miles next month. Being that I only run 4 days a week It will force me to add longer runs, which is what I want to be doing. So we will just have to wait and see how that goal pans out!  But I am still feeling great and super excited to run a marathon!

My training has been spotty so far.  first runs were awesome, but now I'm in quasi recovery.  I ran last night and it was the worst I've run in my life I think...  Goals: Sub 8 minute miles is the biggy.  I can do that on short runs, but I need to get that for longer runs, IE Bloomsday.  Otherwise my goals are to stay diligent with training and continue developing my form.  More multisport competition should be cool to.  Interested in the Mary, but not feeling much excitement until it's closer.  Other goals would be to do the 30 trail run around Mt St Helens sometime....

Brea, I'm sure you can knock out 100 mi in a month, thats 25 a week, 5 a day with recovery time...no sweat!  lets all keep it up and rock this Mary!

Sub 8 minute miles is an awesome goal, and I am sure being a guy you can take it on no problem.  When is Bloomsday? and how far is it?  You should try and get a hold of my brother, he might want to do it. I won't be coming back until september, but I would be up for a 30miles trail run around Mt. St. Helens. If you do it before hand let me know how it goes and maybe we could do it again once I am back.  Anyway, keep up the awesome work, I know your rage in the sage is coming up quick so good luck to both you and Tres!

St. Helens when you get back would be awesome Brea -- it's beautiful in the Mountains in the fall!!  That might be a good training run in September, kind of a last hurrah before the mary.

Training's going "spotty".  I'm just a slacker sometimes, good god.  Ran 2.5 miles, then walked 2.5 miles today.  Did the first 2.5 miles at a 9:40 pace, which, like adam, I'd like to get down to sub 8.  My goal for March was 34 miles (I wasn't even planning on doing this until like the 8 or 9th, that's my excuse).  Brea, I like your goal of 100 miles.  Crap at 7 miles a run, you should have no problem crankin out 100 miles!  And yes, we'll run in Italy for SURE!

Adam, I might be up for Bloomsday with you.  It would be pretty fun if you and I and Matt go.  Are we going to do the entire Multi-Sport series that the 3rrr has this year?  (correct answer: hell yeah!)

The next two weeks I'm going to train my brains out and then taper off the week before the Rage in the Sage.

Tomorrow's our training ride for the Rage, adam, you comin'?  (correct answer: hell yeah!)

Are you guys using the shoe tracker on this site?  I have been, it's slick.

Alrighty guys, see you soon and keep up the miles!  AWOOOOO!
