I live in Southeast TN and have been running for a few years now on and off. More recently on..having just done a couple 5ks. I've been getting goosebumps when I've been running outside and inside my YMCA. It's especially bad when I am running outside. Even though it's hot outside my whole body feels cold.  I usually drink around 60-80 ounces of water a day. Does anyone know what could be causing my chills?

I also live in Tennessee (Nashville) and this happened to me one day when it was in the 90's and I went on a longer than usual walk.  I used up all the meager water supplies I had midway through and slogged home, where my son, training to be an athletic trainer, was concerned about my appearance and chills/goosebumps.  I think that I became overheated and dehydrated. I have since been very careful to only walk during moderate temps (EARLY morning or late evening) and drink a quart or more of water during.
