Running Routes: Sacramento Area Roadless Runs

Can people share their routes that avoid streets or minimize use of them in the Sacramento area? The Parkway is great, but how about cul-de-sacs and parks and greenbelts? Please post a few suggestions. My ARC greenbelt route, for example, is serene and beautiful. I hate to run 3 feet from a speeding idiot; and I hate to get honked at, yelled at, etc...on roads. Plus, I think there's more exhaust fumes when you run right on the road.
