I've entered a route and all the motes had zero mileage.

Tried to "add a point before" and after and nothing happens - no point added.

     Saved route has no points.

     Anyone know what's happening?

I hate to say this but I'm finding this systrem totally unreliable.  I changed a few notes to an existing route and suddenly the route is all screwed up.  The point I added the note to now plots in central Africa.

Too bad - it would be a nice system if it worked reliably.

Ditto. And it doesn't seem like there is any support from the designers, just a forum full of people who have the same problems and none of the solutions.

Has anyone seen a developer reply to a Help! forum post?

    Hi Peter-

Have you seen our tutorial videos on adding points?  It can be a little bit tricky, but it works.

We are working to develop a major new version of our mapping technology that should make this process more intuitive, while fixing some bugs related to marker notes.

I've watched most of the tutorials.  I didn't see one for "adding points."  I have had general success on adding points.  Some issues:  when I move a point the associated note goes blank.  Sometimes I end up with multiple points for one mouse click.   I'm not sure if this happens only with "follow roads" - I'll move a point but there's another point at the same spot (or two more - not sure).  I like to use a shorthand " ---| " in my cue sheets to mean continue to the end of the road.  Apparently the "pipe" character completely corrupts the route data file - sends points out to China!

You have a great design - if only you can get it to work correctly all the time.
