Help!: trouble mapping longer routes

I may be experiencing the same problem that has been mentioned in some help threads with respect to editing.  With the new mapping tool, when I create a longer route everything appears to work fine.  However, when I go back to view the map later, it does not load the red line that normally depicts the route (only a few mile markers show up).  I took care to use as few points as possible when creating the route, so as not to overload the mapping tool, yet it still will not load the route when I go back to view these routes.  Obviously this is frustrating given the time it takes to map out a long route.  I very much appreciate the service this website provides, and hope this glitch can be resolved soon.
