Lostsheep, ehirning, looks like you have me beat over the first week in August.

All you have to do now is stay in front, and maybe hope for more rain in St. Louis!

    Wink

Well I've been traveling for work and am in Iowa for the next few months. Literally. I've been making good use of the hotel's gym for now. Unfortunately, for the next week or so, it'll be up to ehirning b/c my current hotel doesn't have a gym.

I move into a better one Sunday.

I had a big ride today, metric century - 65.3 miles - in absolutely perfect and completely atypical St. Louis weather for August.  I hope you all have great weather too and make the most of it this weekend.

I'm in Phoenix, so it's pretty hot for riding here. I'll have to make good use of the stationary. I've been slacking the last week or so. I need to step it up since I noticed that you've already passed me Steve. I'll be back on it tomorrow! So sit back, relax, no need for you to do any riding. By the way, I'm only 10 miles form hitting the 1000 mile mark on my virtual tour. Howz everyone else doing?

Ehirning, congrats on hitting 1000 today!!! (you did, right???)

I crossed 1800 this morning, another amazing day in St. Louis. High today is supposed to be 81. It is NEVER like this in August.

Here's a pic of my virtual route from Google Maps as of this morning. I should be in Washinton by the end of the week!

    1803 Miles

Alright Steve, I'm back. Me and ehirning ought to put up some good numbers this month, or at least I plan to. My map is still acting funny, so I'll have to work w/ google maps to share mine.

It's still hot here but I managed 16 miles on the stationary. Lostsheep, the pressure's on. I'll do what I can to contribute, but I'm having a surgical procedure on the 19th which may slow me down (at least for a couple days). Nothing major, but it'll keep me out of the saddle a while.

I'll crank out as many as I can until then and be back as soon as I can afterwards.

I'm not having any trouble updating my route here.  Tonight I actually hit 1000 miles! The link to my ride should work on our home page. I'm just outside Nashville, TN.

My map is updating, but it's still painfully SLOW. Not quite sure why, but it is! I'm at 590.7 and am planning a 5mi run tonight, so that ought to help :)

Thanks Steve. Yes, I did hit 1000 miles. Congrats on hitting 1800!

When the weather cools off here mor, I'll be able to log many more miles. As it is, I usually ride in the evenings and it's still over 100 degrees. I know it's a dry heat, but it's still heat. we should have weather like what you're having in another month or so. I can't wait!
