Are there any good running shoes out there for less than $60? I would prefer something not online as I do not want to guess what size I need or if it will fit me. I have a low arch and neutral gait. I know people would normally recommend the brooks Dyad or even the Asics Fortitude, but I can't spend that kind of money on shoes. I have a Fleet Feet, Dicks Sporting Goods, Foot Locker, Famous Footwear, and Finish Line near me.

good shoes for under 60 bucks are gonna be hard to find...all shoe companies are raising the prices of their shoes because of high gas prices, inflation, etc etc (if you don't believe me, wait until the next generation of shoes comes out, almost everything goes up by 10 bucks)

    good luck though

They don't exist.  The cheap ones aren't good.  Shoes are your only real running investment, however.

I used to love the Nike Windrunners, less than $60 and a great sneaker.

When companies introduce their new lines of running shoes, you can often get last year's models at a deep discount.  In my area, we have a sports store that carries a number of discontinued models until they are sold out.  Some argue that the soles and the cushoining break down after awhile, but I've never had problems.  On the contrary, it seems that once I find a shoe that I really like, the company discontinues it!!  This year, I kept searching on the internet for a deep price cut and bought an extra pair to ease the transition to yet another new model.  Good luck with your search.
