I know we've all been hammered with the importance of replacing glycogen stores after a run.  I am an early morning runner, and I wake up starving, so I always eat, then run.  I don't have any problems with cramps or anything, and I don't eat after my run because 1) I'm never hungry, and 2) it seems to me like the food I ate before the run should do the job.  Am I wrong, should I be eating something?

I've been running for five years and I was recently bitten by the "I want to go faster" bug. In an attempt to get more performance out of my body, I've been paying closer attention to my runs, diet, sleep, etc.  I have been toying with the idea of trying to placate my appetite with something small, then going for my run, and eating breakfast after... is this the way to go if I can manage it?

Thanks for the help... isn't running great?? :)
