    Currently they are only displayed in increments of 5 miles.  I would like to be able to see smaller intervals - perhaps relating this to the map zoom level would make sense, or simply allowing the user to select the interval.

    Maybe there could be an option for 1/5/or 10 mile markers.  When I do off-road trails, I like to do miles.

    It would be nice to have a tracking mile marker....anytime you click to add a point on the route, at that point you have the mileage.

    Routeslip.com had this feature as well as the elevation and they were incredibly helpful when designing routes.

    YES,  get us an ascending/descending altimeter. Posting info at each turn is helpful or at special spots along the way.  You have that feature now but it would be cool if some pre written ones were there such as RIGHT TURN, Left turn, Regroup, watch for low flying missles, etc.

    Cyclists and runners have different needs.  Mile increments on a running map that pop up would be cool. 5 mile spots for cyclists is good.
