by: MarkMHicks - May 14 2008, 6:10PM I agree, editing routes is difficult. Also it appears we cannot edit in the Beta version. It seems to go the the old version.
I have had my cue sheet (Notes) disapear when I edit. The insert a waypoint feature seldom works.

It would be great if the ability to delete/erase segments of a route exists or could be added ... or at least pick out a lap (say you have 3 laps and want only the middle one ... in my case, eliminating the legs from & to home) from an upload (don't even know if laps are identified an an upload). Any possibility such a feature can be worked into future plans, or there is a way to do it that I don't recognize?

by: Medic81 - May 4 2008, 7:58PM Thanks so much for this wonderful site. My problem is that it is very difficult to edit routes if you make a mistake. It is also difficult to modify a section in the middle or a route once the rest of the route have been created. Say . . . if you save a long ride and then find a better way to traverse a section of it. Any improvements in these areas would be much appreciated.

by: jthutc - May 2 2008, 9:19AM Maybe this has been brought up before, or I'm just stupid, but I can't figure out a way to default to showing my weekly mileage, as opposed to monthly. That would be much more helpful. I'd like to be able to know it without running a report for each week.
Many thanks.

by: GCBrannan - May 1 2008, 1:51PM Can you add accumulated elevation gain?
Can you provide a means to determine percent grade on an ascent/descent ... say by clicking on two points on the elevation profile?

by: X86BSD - Apr 28 2008, 1:27PM I don't know if this is the right place or if it has already been brought up, but I have noticed the site is quite slow with mapping on my iPhone. Which as dumb as it may sound I use quite a bit to look up routes and whatnot while riding :)
If possible a little optimization for iPhones would be awesome! I wonder if I am the only one using the site via iPhone while cycling? Love the site! It's a really great service and you are all are doing a fantastic job!

by: geezerjock - Apr 28 2008, 6:30AM Resolved - my ignorance ... of course an upload from the garmin storage card would be too easy ... the file format is wrong because you are looking for a .gpx file, not a .tcx. Suggestion - if practical, add an error message to the effect that .tcx is not supported but .gpx is, or similar. It would have eliminated my post, your time, etc.
I admire your work and responsiveness, Jeff.

by: geezerjock - Apr 28 2008, 6:00AM jeff - thanks for your advice. I hve an issue - personal or otherwise. Running XPpro/Firefox. Symptom is that after what appears to be a successful upload from an edge705, the next display is a blank google map of the world. When I invoke the save tab, I am told I must plot a route before i can save it. Reinstalled Garmin Communicator to be sure all is in order ... verified theough the test page. I note others appear to have had similar issues. What am I missing?
Thanks again.
