location: Peoria, Illinois distance: 71.10 mi. | Route Type: Bike Ride created by: description: Alternate northern route for the 2007 Peoria Roubaix to be held sometime in October. Again, I've not driven/ridden this ride yet, so I can't speak for there being a road where my map says there should be. Also - this route is meant to be ridden with either a mountain bike or trail bike. View | Video | Print | Bookmark | Write a Story | Tell-A-Friend |

location: Peoria, Illinois distance: 14.46 mi. | Route Type: Bike Ride created by: description: Bicycling is my favorite way to enjoy Peoria's scenic attractions. This route starts near Fedora's Deli - a locally owned favorite and a great place to refuel after your ride. There are many pleasant places along this route to stop and enjoy. You may want to bring your bike lock along so you can park and explore on foot. Suggested starting location: Loucks School, McClure & University Street, Peoria (parking lot behind school off McClure). Highlights: Fedora's Deli (across from Loucks School) - legendary pizza and subs. Bradley Park. West Bluff & Moss Ave Victorian neighborhoods. O'Brien Field - baseball stadium. Downtown Peoria riverfront- riverfront trail (paved), dining, shopping, art galleries, farmer's market (summer Saturday). Riverplex (Peoria Park District health club). Constitution park/garden. Detweiller Marina & peninsula trail. Glen Oak Park, Luthy Botanical Garden & Zoo. Roads and Terrain: Lower-traffic city streets and paved riverfront trails.
