STAYING FRESH AFTER A WORKOUT
No one wants to ride a crowded bus or run an errand post-gym and worry if others can smell the sweaty stink of a good workout. Whether you’re getting in your car after the gym or meeting friends following a long run, here are a few suggestions to make your workout experience and post-fitness routine a little more refreshing:
Hose Yourself Down
While even the buffest may be uncomfortable to shower in public stalls, a quick rinse is the best bet for immediate odor relief. Leave an extra pair of flip flops in your gym locker to avoid germs, or if time permits, take a quick shower at home.
Clean Out Your Gear Bag
According to a recent Febreze survey on Mapmyfitness.com, 65% of members responded that they could use Febreze SPORT products to rid of sweat odors in their gym bags. Select products in the Febreze SPORT collection features a specially-formulated X-Sweat Technology to seek out tough sweat odors and neutralize them at the source. If gym bags aren’t enough of a breeding ground for stink, 88% responded that they would use Febreze SPORT on shoes and socks. Be sure to empty out your gym bag of stinky gear, apparel and shoes, and if you’re unable to wash certain items, give a quick spritz of Febreze SPORT Workout Odor Eliminator for ultimate freshness.
Stock Up
Keep an extra set of toiletries nearby – in your locker or equipment bags. Face wash, soap, and deodorant are some key items to always have on hand to stay fresh after your work out. If your workout takes you on the road, or more likely on a winding trail, be sure to check out your local grocery store for travel-size items that can be stashed in small running gear.

Wow. I just had to read all the comments! They were fun, but a little repetitive. I've actually never tried Febreeze in my gym bag...but, I know that lavender dryer sheets work in a pinch when I cant empty my bag for a week or two. LOL.

Febreze, not your smartest move but nice target marketing. Perhaps remove the condescending tone in the article and you may get somewhere.
Guys, lighten up! Free websites and advertising $$ work together
Advertisers... don't patronise us!

Hey kids, guess what...there isn't a pile of Internet Money sitting around in a hole just waiting to be brought up in a big bucket every time a site like this wants to add a new feature! Most people don't want to pay premium, they want it all for "free". Well free costs. If you don't like advertising, pay the premium price...but for crying out loud, try some critical thinking skills.
I actually wasn't aware there was a Febreze for sports gear, and I probably will give

Constant Fabreeze ads make me never want to purchase your POS product. Covering up odors isn't an excuse for being a skanky b%tch. Clean your sh&t up, don't mask it with fake spray BS.

The product actually does work, In fact it masked the decaying scent of my Ex mother in laws rotting corpse for almost a month... :)

I've got to agree that this was pretty obvious, moronic and sophomoric. It's kind of an insult to be subjected to such a thinly veiled advertisement. Just give us an ad, straight up, and we'll be happy to consider the product. But this "story" stinks.

Shower after running... hmmmm never in a million years would I have thought of that. We runners must be so stupid. Gee I really feel like buying this product now... as if the constant annoying ads on the site were not enough, now we're being educated in basic hygene principles. I reckon their marketing department stinks, not us!

Really? Ban company adverts? You're obviously not smart enough to realize that company advertisements are what powers not only this site but 80-90% of the Internet.
Next time you're holding hands around the campfire singing Kumbaya, think about that.

"Shower after you sweat" advice is common sense. Its sponsored advertorial. Thanks to advertisers like Febreze, this useful site is free for the rest of us:-)

This article changed my life. After working up a good smelly sweat cycling at the Fitness Center last night, I took a shower before leaving and going to dinner with my wife. It saved my marriage and sex life!
On a more serious note, we may wanna lighen up on febreze...if this site doesn't have sponsors, we may all be "sweatin it."

Company adverts should be banned - especially the ones that simply DON'T help. Go away Febreze!
