Bike Ride Description
Start outside Stewart Cycles in the CBD and head up Maitai Valley Road, climb first part of Maungatapu Track and look for sign to Teal Saddle for view of Maitai Reservoir, from top there's about 8 to 9 km of cruisy downhill on forest roads (Central Rd, Sharlands Rd) back to the valley where you rejoin the tarmac to return to the CBD.
