Run Description
I used the "follow streets automatically" a lot, so i need to clean up most of the corners (straighten them out) plus i need to find out from race officials what the reroutes were. They posted a notice, 2 weeks before, on the web site but just said a few tweaks had to be made, not specifying where and for what distances. (Do you remember that little U-turn we did somwhere around 24 miles?!) I'll edit those in as i receive info. Main motivation for mapmyrun - ing the St. Jude was to get a (much) better elevation graph. Great marathon but official elevation chart literally shows only the net rise/fall from mile-post to mile post. No clue is given about the number of smaller, yet significant ups and downs between the mile markers. HOPE THIS HELPS whether reviewing your race or prepping for 2008. I'll be back.
